Erfan is a seasoned investment professional, entrepreneur, and the Founder and Head Coach at ETD Institute, where he is dedicated to elevating public understanding of stock analysis. With extensive experience at world-class banks and hedge funds, including UBS, D. E. Shaw, and Point72, Erfan has developed a wealth of knowledge that he now shares through his coaching and mentoring of aspiring equity analysts.

In addition to his role at ETD Institute, Erfan is the Founder & Chief Investment Officer of Astoron Asset Management, a proprietary investment management firm overseeing millions of dollars in assets under management. At Astoron, he leads a dual-focus approach, blending medium-term thesis-driven strategies with short-term tactical momentum trading to capitalize on diverse market opportunities.

A proud graduate of Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business with a degree in Finance, Erfan combines technical expertise with a passion for transforming complex market insights into easy-to-understand, actionable strategies. His journey began at UBS, where he gained foundational skills in market analysis and investment banking, before moving on to a prestigious fellowship at D. E. Shaw, where he refined his analytical and strategic thinking. He later joined Point72, deepening his expertise in institutional trading and portfolio management.

In 2024, Erfan founded ETD Institute to create a platform that empowers the public to confidently analyze stocks and make informed investment decisions. He also dedicates his time to mentoring the next generation of equity analysts, helping them develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the competitive world of finance. His mission is to inspire and equip others with the tools to navigate the complexities of financial markets with confidence and clarity.
